The Greenwall Foundation
ARTS & HUMANITIES
Application Procedures
Effective January 1, 2012, The Foundation's grantmaking will focus solely on building and enriching the Greenwall Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics.
The remaining two grant cycles in the arts program will have the following altered scenario:
For the fall grant cycle (application deadline August 2, 2010), only
those artists/organizations that were awarded Greenwall grants
within the last five years - in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 -
will be eligible to apply.
Artists/organizations notified that they have been awarded grants
in the current spring cycle (for which the deadline was February 1,
2010) will not be eligible to apply again for the August 2 deadline.
And, proposals from artists/organizations not previously funded by
Greenwall or that last received Greenwall support before 2005
will not be considered.
For the final grant cycle with a February 1, 2011 deadline, proposals
will be requested and considered by invitation only.
Applicants are encouraged to telephone Fredica Jarcho, Vice President for Program, regarding their proposals well in advance of the application deadlines.
The Arts & Humanities program has neither a printed application form nor a formal proposal outline. Requests for support should include:
- Project description
- Summary budget (expense and income) specifying the amount requested from The Greenwall Foundation
- Statement of the qualifications of the artists
- Copy of the organization's most recent audited financial statements or IRS Form 990
- 501(c)3 tax exemption letter
- Other relevant material
Please do not send work samples unless requested. No plastic bindings or staples please.
Proposals must be received at the Foundation's offices by close of business (5:00 PM EST).
