OSCAR M RUEBHAUSEN COMMISSION

Oscar M Ruebhausen (1912-2004) became Chairman of The Greenwall Foundation in 1982 after serving as a Member and Director for more than 30 years. When he was named Chair Emeritus of the Foundation in May 1991, a commissioning program was established in his honor.

The commissions are awarded by invitation of The Foundation. The following artists (and their sponsoring organizations) have received commissions since the program's inception:

2007 & 2008
Public Art for the Centennial of The Grand Concourse in the Bronx in 2009: Wave Hill, the Bronx Museum of the Arts, and the public art program of the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation
